BDC Capital, Inc. Names David R. Pomije CEO


MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 16, 2006 -- BDC Capital, Inc. (OTCBB: BDCN) today named David R. Pomije as its chief executive officer, effectively immediately.

"David Pomije brings great strengths to the company as it launches its online social-networking community," Jeff Mills, BDC Capital board member, said. "Chief among his skills are public company management leadership and a natural affinity for technology and marketing."

Pomije, 50, was chairman of Funco Inc., a nationwide retailer of video games, which he founded in 1988. In May 2000 Barnes & Noble purchased Funco for $162 million and now operates the former Funcoland stores as GameStop. Pomije has served on the boards of and acted as a consultant to a variety of businesses, specializing on early-stage to emerging-growth companies.
