Newly Merged iTera and Vision Solutions Integrate Strengths and Respective Identities

New Management Team and Enhanced Logo Provide Powerful Message and Unified Strength to System i Marketplace

IRVINE, CA and SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 20, 2006 -- Vision Solutions today announced a new logo combining the Company's name with the iTera brand. The innovative image reflects the Company's commitment to bring premier, easy-to-use, and affordable System i high availability and disaster recovery solutions to companies of all sizes. The new organization also announced its combined management team.

"We are in the enviable position of possessing extremely talented professionals and two valuable brands with powerful equity in the marketplace," said Chief Executive Officer Nicolaas Vlok. "Our overall strategy integrates the valuable assets of each company's technology and identity."

Recently merged with Vision Solutions, iTera's history of innovation is the leading go-to-market brand name for the Company's technologies. "Our entrepreneurial spirit and innovative technologies ensure our continued success," said Executive Vice President Dan NeVille (former CEO of iTera). "Integrating these attributes with an ever-enhancing product line signals strong positioning for our combined organization. Those seeking superior high availability and disaster recovery solutions do not need a 'safe passage' during this transition; rather, they need products that are easy-to-use, affordable, and remarkably reliable -- we provide these solutions in such a way no other company can."

Chief Executive Officer Nicolaas Vlok leads the new executive management team. Dan NeVille is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Alan Arnold is the Chief Technology Officer and also an Executive Vice President. As Senior Vice Presidents of Engineering, Henry Martinez and Kent McDonald will continue to lay new ground in strategic solutions development. Don Scott will serve as the Chief Financial Officer.

While continuing to develop and support all current products, Vision Solutions will cultivate a combined HA platform leveraging best-of-breed technologies from Vision's ORION and iTera's Echo2. Eventually, all solutions will reflect the iTera brand, creating a unified look when coupled with Vision Solutions' new logo.

"Our customers will continue to benefit from product enhancements as we move to a combined platform," added CEO Nicolaas Vlok. "Our commitment to customer satisfaction means they can rest assured their investments in our solutions are sound." The design goals for the combined platform include usability, integrity, performance, scalability, and backwards compatibility.

Prior to the merger, both iTera and Vision Solutions were providing quality solutions with their Echo2 and ORION brands. The companies merged to leverage their unique technologies and distribution channels. Unique pricing, such as Vision Solution's subscription-based program, will continue and new offers are under consideration to make high availability even more affordable.

"iTera's Echo2 High Availability solution is known for its remarkable usability and for removing the barriers of entry for thousands of organizations who could not manage traditional HA solutions," Dan NeVille continued. "Vision's ORION led the market internationally and has captured a leading market share in IBM's very large enterprise accounts and our combined strengths will yield unprecedented benefits for all organizations."

With the commitment to continual improvement and support of current solutions, the Company will release enhanced technologies on schedule in the first quarter of 2007, as well as provide a detailed roadmap of their combined platform.
