Electronic Game Card's Second Order to Kansas Lottery Goes On Sale

NEW YORK and LONDON, Nov. 29, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Electronic Game Card, Inc. (OTCBB:EGMI), the creator of a proprietary credit card-sized pocket game combining interactive capability with "instant win" excitement called the EGC GameCard, today confirmed that a second order of EGC GameCards has been shipped to the Kansas Lottery for immediate release through the State's lottery retail outlets.

"The Kansas Lottery's Super 7's has achieved a highly successful launch. Our customers are excited by the EGC GameCard's easy, extended play and digital interface. Our first order of 120,000 $20 Electronic GameCards was so well received that it was necessary for us to place a second order within just five weeks of the initial release date. This second shipment, which went on sale Monday, November 27, 2006, is the first of what we believe will be multiple reorders of the Electronic GameCard," commented Ed Van Petten, Director of the Kansas Lottery.

"Over the last several years, scratch cards have become large and complicated in order to accommodate consumer demand for real extended play. The Electronic GameCard is an innovative multiple play product which provides our lottery with a unique and highly popular $20 lottery experience which successfully meets that player need. We look forward to subsequent EGC GameCard formats to be released in the near future," continued Van Petten.

During the third quarter 2006, Kansas became the second US state to offer the high-tech Super 7's EGC GameCard that for $20 provides 80 spins of a tiny slot machine look-alike device about the size of a credit card. Each game device is guaranteed to pay a prize of $3 to $500. Electronic Game Card, Inc. offers over 20 different game software programs utilizing the EGC GameCard platform.
