Board Names Chair, Vice Chair for Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati


CINCINNATI, Dec. 26, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The FHLBank Board of Directors elected Carl F. Wick to serve as Chair of the Board and Richard C. Baylor as Vice Chair. Both terms are effective January 1, 2007.

Mr. Wick is Principal/Owner of Wick and Associates Business Consulting. He retired in 1994 after a 28-year career with NCR Corporation, Dayton, Ohio. As Director of Engineering Human Resources, he oversaw the human resources function of 4,500 product development engineers located in 20 facilities around the world. Mr. Wick has been appointed by Governor Taft to two consecutive terms of service to the Ohio State Board of Education, where he currently serves on the Resources Committee. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers and an adjunct instructor at Wright State University.

Mr. Wick was appointed to the Board in 2003 and was reappointed in 2004 to a three-year term and in 2006 to a one-year term. He has served as the Board's Vice Chair since 2005. He chairs the Board's Information Technology Committee, serves on the Housing and Community Development Committee and is a representative of our FHLBank to the Council of Federal Home Loan Banks.

Mr. Baylor is Chairman, President and CEO of Camco Financial Corporation, a multi-state financial services holding company headquartered in Cambridge, Ohio. Camco provides financial services through 30 offices to 23 communities in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia, reporting assets of $1.1 billion at September 30, 2006. Mr. Baylor was named to his current role combining Chairman and CEO in November 2006. He was promoted to the position of President of Camco Financial in January 2000, after joining Camco in October of 1998 as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Baylor has over 27 years of banking experience. He is currently on the Board of Trustees of Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio, and is immediate past President of the Ohio Bankers League. He also serves on the America's Community Bankers Federal Home Loan Bank and Government Sponsored Enterprises Committees.

Mr. Baylor was elected to his first three-year term of service with the Board in 2002 and was re-elected for a second three-term in 2005. Mr. Baylor currently chairs the Board's Asset/Liability Policy Committee and is a member of the Audit and MPP Committees.
