Neoware Names Mike Owens Its Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations


KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Feb. 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Neoware, Inc. (Nasdaq:NWRE), a leading provider of thin client computing solutions announces the hiring of Mike Owens as Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations. The appointment of Owens reflects Neoware's desire to put more robust supply chain management systems and processes in place to support its future growth objectives. The Company has grown from $11 million to more than $100 million since its fiscal year 2000.

Owens brings with him over 17 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain management with companies such as Motorola, Ford Motor Company, and Multilink Technology. Before joining Neoware, Owens most recently directed worldwide supply chain operations for Motorola's Digital Video Set-Top business and previously held a similar position directing global manufacturing, outsourcing, and logistical operations for Motorola's Data Cable Modem and Voice Over IP (VoIP) consumer terminal business.
