SAMPO PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 13 February 2007
The Board of Sampo plc has today decided to cancel 4 827 500 Sampo A shares repurchased in 2006. The cancellation reduces the number of Sampo A share with the corresponding amount but has no effect on the share capital.
Once the cancellation is entered into the trade register, the number of Sampo plc's A shares totals 577,330,890. Total number of shares of the company, including 1,200,000 B shares, is 578,530,890 shares.
