Sydbank raised hybrid capital

To strengthen the Bank's capital resources, Sydbank raised a hybrid Tier 1 loan
of EUR 49 million. Consequently the loan which the Bank raised in April 2006 is
increased to a total of EUR 100 million. Subject to the approval of the Danish
Financial Supervisory Authority, the loan can be repaid as from 25 April 2017.
