Componenta's Albin transaction completed

Componenta's transaction to sell the shares of the Swedish Componenta Albin AB
has been completed on 15 March 2007, when the conditions for completion were
fulfilled. Componenta has signed an agreement on 20 February 2007 to sell the
business operations of its subsidiary, Componenta Albin AB in an MBO to its
operative management consisting of Antti Lehtonen, Director, Componenta,
Managing Director Andreas Falcini, CFO Ulf Lander and Production Manager Robert
Johansson. The selling price is EUR 14.3 million and Componenta will record a
profit of about EUR 13 million on the sale.

The transaction is in line with Componenta's strategy of divesting non-core
businesses. Selling the operations of Albin machine shop will strengthen
Componenta's equity ratio, and improves its possibilities to concentrate on
developing the core business.

Componenta Albin is a Swedish machine shop and has been part of the Componenta
Group since 1997. The machine shop is specialized in the manufacturing of gear
wheel components mainly to automotive industry. In 2006 it had net sales of EUR
27.3 million and it employs 150 people.
