(Pink Sheets:PEDG) is pleased to announce it is entering into a contract to provide all sound supervision and audio post production services for the film's sequel, AEGIS II, due out later this year.
The screenplay for the original movie was based on "Aegis," the name of a series of advanced high-tech warships, deployed to only a few countries in the world, one of which is hijacked by terrorists. When a biological weapon is smuggled aboard the high-tech battleship named Aegis, it appears as if a new military age is dawning in Japan. Militant terrorist Pao Yeung Fan is determined to unleash a biological weapon on Japan, but a brave Chief Petty Officer (Hiroyuki Sanada) has other ideas.
The movie was a blockbuster success throughout Asia in 2006, and Orangebox Entertainment's work on the acclaimed motion picture earned Orangebox an Academy Award nomination for films in the Asian market.
