HAMILTON, Norway, April 11, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Seadrill has secured a letter of award with Vietsovpetro for an assignment in Vietnam with the jack-up drilling rig West Larissa. The six well assignment has estimated duration of 360 days with corresponding contract value of approximately US$66 million. Start-up of operations is scheduled in direct continuation of the rig's current commitments. West Larissa is currently operating offshore Indonesia.
