In recent years, Munns has made energy efficiency one of her top regulatory priorities. She co-chaired, along with Jim Rogers, CEO and Chairman of Duke Energy, the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency. In addition to her many NARUC assignments, Munns has been active with the Electric Power Research Institute, the Keystone Energy Board, and the National Academies of Science. In her current position as Executive Director of Retail Energy Services for EEI, she directs the Institute's work in a broad range of retail energy services including energy efficiency, member commercial operations, national account customers, retail market structures, state competitive and regulatory policies, and supplier diversity.

"AESP prides itself on providing a forum for knowledge transfer between industry thought leaders and practitioners", said AESP President and CEO Meg Matt. "We are delighted to have Ms. Munns on the program and look forward to her comments on the role energy efficiency plays in our nation's future energy requirements."

With more energy companies increasing their investment in energy efficiency programs for residential and commercial customers, AESP developed its spring conference around the subject of program implementation. The conference is designed for organizations who are new to energy efficiency, as well as those who want to get the latest thinking on implementation.
