Invitation to Akzo Nobel's first quarter 2007 conference call
I have pleasure in inviting you to the conference call scheduled for Tuesday, April 24, at which our 1st quarter results will be presented by CFO Rob Frohn.
The conference call, being held in English, will be broadcast via a live audio webcast at www.akzonobel.com, starting at 10.00 hrs (Dutch time).
The press release will be available for publication at 08.00 hrs Your editorial staff will also be sent the press release at that time.
If you wish to attend the conference call, please return the enclosed form by fax or e-mail, after which you will receive the conference call details.
Furthermore, there is a possibility to be present at Akzo Nobel's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, being held at Akzo Nobel Headquarters, Velperweg 76, Arnhem, The Netherlands on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, starting at 14.00 hrs (Dutch time). You can only be present as an observer. There will be no opportunity to ask questions before, during or after the meeting. Photographers will only have the opportunity to take pictures before the meeting begins.

Uitnodiging voor Akzo Nobel's conference call over het 1ste kwartaal 2007
Graag nodig ik u uit voor onze conference call op dinsdag 24 april, waar de heer Rob Frohn, Chief Financial Officer, een toelichting zal geven op de cijfers over het 1ste kwartaal 2007.
De conference call, die als audio webcast via www.akzonobel.com wordt uitgezonden, begint om 10.00 uur. De voertaal van de conference call is Engels.
Het persbericht wordt om 08.00 uur vrijgegeven voor publicatie en wordt op hetzelfde moment aan uw redactie verzonden.
Daarnaast bestaat de mogelijkheid om op woensdag 25 april 2007 a.s. aanwezig te zijn bij de Algemene Vergadering van Aandeelhouders. Deze wordt gehouden op het Akzo Nobel hoofdkantoor in Arnhem (Velperweg 76) en begint om 14.00 uur.
Voor de goede orde geef ik hierbij aan dat u alleen als toehoorder aanwezig kunt zijn. Er is geen gelegenheid om voor, tijdens, of na deze vergadering vragen te stellen. Fotografen worden uitsluitend voor aanvang van de vergadering in de gelegenheid gesteld foto's te maken.
Het bijgesloten antwoordformulier kunt u gebruiken om ons op de hoogte te stellen van uw deelname. Dit kan per e-mail maar ook per fax. Na ontvangst worden de details van de conference call aan u verstrekt.
