SAN JOSE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- Technology Credit Union (Tech CU) has
partnered with the Vanished Children Alliance (VCA), a national nonprofit
that assists in the location and recovery of missing or abducted children,
to help disseminate information to its members and employees about missing
children in the Bay Area.
As part of its support, Tech CU will regularly rotate an image of a missing
child featured by VCA on its online banking login page. The photo will link
to the VCA website where members can find out more about the case, as well
as a phone number to contact if they have information that may assist in
the recovery of the child.
Tech CU is committed to being a social leader in the Bay Area. Through its
community relations program, the credit union helps to raise awareness
among its employees, members, and the community for local nonprofits and
community outreach organizations. Throughout the year, Tech CU will sponsor
several community service events that support financial education along
with children, youth, and family services in the Bay Area. To find out more
about these events and how individuals can participate, go to Tech CU's
