ORLANDO, Fla., April 23, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Beere Financial Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BRFG) announced today that it has acquired 100% of the stock of American Rural Broadband, Inc. (ARB), a private Nevada corporation.
ARB will contract with IVI Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:IVCM) to market IVCM's Lickity-Split(sm) wireless broadband services to 53,000 households located in central Arkansas between Little Rock and West Memphis. Broadband penetration in Arkansas is among the lowest in the nation. With over 80% of its 2.7 million residents located in cities and townships of population, with less than 50 thousand people, it is prime wireless territory. The introductory price for residential services is $34.95 per month for the first 1,000 customers and $39.95 per month for all other customers.
Beere Financial Group, Inc. recently announced a new strategy moving more towards the development and financing of technology and entertainment companies. This is the first acquisition in that revised strategy.
"The wireless broadband industry is growing and ARB's strategy for marketing services to rural areas is not only cost effective but extremely profitable. This venture will help drive revenues and profit as well as integrate our entertainment properties and discover new markets," states Steve Lane, President of Beere Financial Group.
Beere Financial is upgrading the current website (www.beerefin.com) to include the development of a corporate social networking site and an advisory board which will consist of individuals from business, financial professionals, entertainment and technology. The selection process is under review and development and no further details are available at this time.
