ORLANDO, Fla., April 26, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Beere Financial Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:BRFG), an equity holdings company, announced today that its subsidiary C.E.D Entertainment Distribution, an independent distributor of Music, Video, Movies and DVD has acquired the MaxMex/Luna Music Latin catalog. The catalog was previously distributed through EMI Latin in 2005.
C.E.D. Entertainment owns the copy rights and publishing for the catalog and the MaxMex catalog consists of 176 DVD's and CD's ranging from Regional Mexican, Tropical and Latin Christian titles.
"We are extremely excited about this acquisition. The revenue for this catalog has been strong with limited marketing. Our goal is to release the entire catalog with an extensive marketing campaign. We are also seeking to acquire additional catalogs and we are aggressively searching for the right deal," states Steve Lane, President of Beere Financial Group and C.E.D. Entertainment.
The catalog include such groups as Banda Maguay, Los #1 En Banda, La Estrellas Azules Disco De Oro, Los Protagonistas, and La Estrellas Azules Disco De Oro.
Beere is working very closely with CED to put an actual value on the catalog as well as revenue projections and management is confident that the numbers will be strong based on past performance with EMI, which was over two million dollars over a two year period.
