Statoil calls extraordinary general meeting


Statoil's (OSE:STL, NYSE:STO) extraordinary general meeting that will consider the proposed merger of Norsk Hydro ASA's petroleum business with Statoil ASA, will be held on Thursday 5 July at 17:00 at the Clarion Hotel in Stavanger.
 
The merger plan and agenda are attached to this stock exchange announcement. The documents will be sent to all shareholders in Statoil and Hydro together with a prospectus. All documents can also be downloaded from Statoil's website, www.statoil.com/egm.
