Swedes are tired of the hassle with suppliers - they want better integration of
telephony, TV and Internet

June 12, 2007, Stockholm, Sweden

Swedes are very interested in IMS-based services - the next generation of
services for telephony, TV and Internet via broadband. For example, 72% of the
respondents would like their mobile telephone to be automatically redirected to
their home telephone when they come home, and 59% want to use the TV and/or
telephone to easily monitor and run important household systems such as heating
and security. These are a few of the results of a SIFO poll commissioned by
Tilgin.

The polling company SIFO has asked more than 1,000 people* about the kind of
functionality they want when it comes to telephony, TV and Internet. Better
integration of different services, fewer pieces of equipment to manage, and
technology that easily adapts itself to the user rather than the other way
around. This is a basic summary of what Swedes want in their future households.

”It is exciting to see the extent to which Swedes are requesting IMS-based
services [IP Multimedia Subsystems] which are forming the next step in the
development of telephony, TV and Internet." says Tilgin's CEO Jan Werne.
“For example, 75% would like to receive calls in the telephone that is closest,
regardless of whether it is the mobile phone or the home phone.”

The study shows that Swedes generally want a minimum of hassle when it comes to
technology - many are prepared to pay extra to avoid upgrades and difficult
installations.

There is also a great interest in better integration between telephony and TV.
Half of the respondents said they would like the TV program they are watching to
be automatically recorded if it is interrupted by a telephone call, and then
played back when the call is finished. 72% would like to be able to simply use
their mobile phone and/or TV to look at their own pictures and films, and 63%
want an uncomplicated way to share such material with friends and family without
needing to do it via the Internet. 59% want a simple way to use the TV and/or
telephone to monitor and run important household systems such as
heating/ventilation, alarms, locks and security.

Tilgin is one of the world's leading developers of IMS solutions in the home,
and launched in the fall of 2006 the “Tilgin IMS@Home” platform.

*The study was done by SIFO's randomly recruited Internet-panel in June 2007.
1,009 people responded to the questions. The respondents were internet users
between the ages of 16 to 79. The full study can be found at www.tilgin.com/sifo
