EnergySolutions Acquires NUKEM Corporation

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - June 27, 2007) - EnergySolutions announced today that it has acquired NUKEM Corporation. NUKEM Corporation is a waste management company providing technology-based solutions and services to the U.S. nuclear industry, as well as the nuclear industries in Mexico, South Korea, and Canada. NUKEM is best known for providing safe, compliant and cost-effective radioactive waste management solutions through the innovative application of proven technologies.
