British Airways' Operating Schedule for July 3 and July 4

NEW YORK, July 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Following a security incident at London Heathrow Airport's Terminal 4, British Airways has announced a reduced flying schedule for July 3 and 4.

Customers who are scheduled to depart to London Heathrow on those dates are urged to check the airline's website (www.ba.com) to see if their flight is still operating.

Customers who are due to travel on any cancelled service may rebook or refund their flights by contacting British Airways on its toll-free number 1 800 AIRWAYS (1 800 247 9297) or by contacting their local travel agent.

Customers with cancelled services today or tomorrow may also be able to rebook for a later date or claim a full refund via the 'Manage My Booking' link on www.ba.com.

Flights to London Gatwick -- Orlando, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Atlanta and Houston -- are not affected and are operating normally; the daily flights between JFK and Manchester are operating normally as are flights to London Heathrow's Terminals 1 and 3.

British Airways would like to apologize to its customers for the disruption.
