From 1990 to the present, U.S. News & World Report has conducted an annual assessment of the quality of U.S. hospitals in the form of lists collectively titled "America's Best Hospitals." Rankings are obtained through a nationwide survey of board certified physicians, with the results published in the July 16, 2007 issue.
