Virgin America Announces Land Rover as An Entertainment Launch Partner


BURLINGAME, Calif., July 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Virgin America, the new U.S. start-up airline which plans to begin domestic service in August, today announced that it has finalized an agreement with Land Rover to become an Entertainment Launch Partner on Red(tm), Virgin America's inflight entertainment system.

In a phased approach over the next year, Virgin America's guests will have the opportunity to learn more about the Land Rover brand, its' dealer network, and some of the vehicles' exciting features, from within an exclusive partner area on Red(tm), the airline's industry leading onboard entertainment system. Red(tm) will offer its customers 'pay-per-view' movies, live TV via satellite, a wide array of audio music entertainment including the ability to compile individual audio playlists, a selection of electronic games, and even meals on-demand.
