Hearst Entertainment Productions Announces New Reality Series Featuring Acclaimed Attorney Gloria Allred

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - July 26, 2007) - Hearst Entertainment Productions, producer of The History Channel's "Modern Marvels" and other successful reality programming, today announced that it has signed on high-profile attorney Gloria Allred to a new one-hour reality series titled, "No Guts No Gloria."

"No Guts No Gloria" teams Gloria Allred with real people who are angry and out for justice. Using her take-no-prisoners attitude and unconventional tactics, she'll help them put a plan in motion, and then use her tenacity and negotiation skills to find a fair resolution for both parties. After years of preparing clients for grueling trials, she's the right person to light a fire and teach them that it takes guts to stop being a victim and start changing their corner of the world.

The show will be produced by Hearst Entertainment Productions Executive Vice President, Reality and Documentary Programming Jerry Shevick; and Vice President, Documentary and Reality Programming Bari Carrelli; along with Sammi Mendenhall.

"Hearst Entertainment is committed to creating cutting-edge programming that engages audiences in a world where consumers have more and more media choices," said Shevick. "Gloria has been in the middle of some of the past decades' biggest stories and I believe that she will help us create situations for our series' participants every bit as dramatic and newsworthy as she's done for hundreds of her own clients."

Said Allred: "I am looking forward to working with Hearst Entertainment in this new and exciting adventure in programming. We believe that we've found a creative and unique concept that will be both entertaining and empowering. I love a new challenge and I think our participants will too."
