SAN RAMON, Calif., Aug. 2, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- In recognition of shared interests in the ongoing development and proliferation of coaxial cable as the standard home entertainment networking medium, CableLabs(r) and MoCA (tm) have formally established a cooperative relationship.
While both organizations will continue to develop specifications independently, the two have agreed to share published and draft specifications as well as proposed documentation to ensure seamless integration of each other's technology within the home.

CableLabs and MoCA have always operated separately but in parallel. Both organizations acknowledge the benefits of cooperation and have gone to great lengths to ensure uninterrupted video delivery to consumers as well as suppliers.
