AB Mazeikiu Nafta hereby informs that preliminary non-audited consolidated net
loss for the first half of 2007 according to the International Financial
Reporting Standards (IFRS) amounted to 50.6 million LTL (18.3 million USD or
14.6 million EUR). The revenue of 4,032.1 mln. LTL (1,557.0 mln. USD or 1,167.8
mln. EUR) was received at the first half of 2007.
During the second quarter of 2007, AB Mazeikiu Nafta's net profit amounted to
84.38 million LTL (32.9 million USD or 24.4 million EUR) and, if compared to
the first half of the current year, the company reduced its net loss more than
twice.
Sales from the second quarter of 2007, if compared to the first quarter of the
current year, increased from 1,579.0 million LTL (599 mln. USD or 457.3 mln.
EUR) to 2,453.1 million LTL (957.6 mln. USD or 710.5 mln. EUR). The total
quantity of feedstock refined increased respectively; during the second
quarter, the throughput amounted to 1,854.8 thous. tons (during the first
quarter, the throughput amounted to 1,324.3 thous. tons).
AB Mazeikiu Naftas's Condensed Consolidated Interim Financial Information for
the six month period having ended on June 30th, 2007 will be presented on 31
August 2007.
