Hurtado Joins Europ Assistance USA as VP Operations

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - August 27, 2007) - Europ Assistance USA, part of the
multinational Europ Assistance Group, today announced that Daniel Hurtado
has joined the company as its Vice President, Operations.
In this role, Hurtado will be responsible for overseeing the company's
international claims management, medical case management, travel
assistance, and identity theft assistance divisions, as well as Europ
Assistance USA's medical team. Based in the company's Washington, D.C.,
headquarters, Hurtado will oversee the functions of all of Europ Assistance
USA's call and claims centers.

Hurtado formerly served as senior vice president, Operations, for World
Access Service Corporation of Richmond, Va., where he oversaw a major
service delivery facility that handled 12 million calls per year. He also
held executive positions with Travelers Insurance Company/Citigroup, The
Heartland Insurance Group, and GE Financial Assurance. He began his career
as a claims examiner, and later a claims supervisor, with Travelers.
Hurtado holds a BA in Economics and an MBA (Finance) from the University of
Connecticut.
