NEW YORK, Sept. 4, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of PIMCO Municipal Advantage Fund Inc. (the "Fund") (NYSE:MAF), a closed-end management investment company which seeks a high level of current income exempt from federal income taxes, announced today that it has declared a dividend of $0.045 cents per common share.
The dividends will be payable on October 1, 2007 to shareholders of record on September 14, 2007, with an ex-dividend date of September 12, 2007.
At August 31, 2007, the Fund's net assets were $154.1 million (inclusive of market value of Preferred Stock of $55 million).
