Metso's American Depositary Share Trading Has Moved to the Over-the-Counter Market in the United States

HELSINKI, Finland, Sept. 17, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Metso Corporation's American Depositary Shares (ADSs) have been delisted from the New York Stock Exchange effective today. Company's ADSs continue to trade on the OTC market under the ticker symbol MXCYY.

Metso expects to complete the delisting and deregistration process during 2007. Metso reserves the right to delay the filing of the Form 15F or withdraw the Form 15F for any reason prior to its effectiveness.
