AFFECTO PLC RELEASE 19 September 2007 at 13:00 AFFECTO HAS STARTED THE COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF COMPONENT SOFTWARE SHARES Affecto has today started the combined mandatory offer and compulsory acquisition of those shares in Affecto's Norwegian subsidiary Component Software, which were not yet owned by Affecto. When the compulsory acquisition started, Affecto owned approx. 97% of Component Software's shares. As a consequence of starting the compulsory acquisition, Affecto's ownership in Component Software rises to 100%. The trading with Component Software at Oslo Stock Exchange has been halted and the listing is expected to officially end by the end of October.
