This first-of-its-kind Port of Houston-Wide Job Fair is aimed at introducing local residents seeking employment, as well as others seeking new career opportunities, to employers who have an immediate need for employees. There's a rising trend in job openings across the nation. While this is good news, there are challenges ahead as the economy shifts to one requiring more skills and higher education.
