It is hereby announced that, at a meeting of the Board of Directors held today,
SPARBANK's Chairman, Ole Brøndum Jensen, has resigned as Chairman of the Board
and, at the same time, has retired from the bank's Board of Directors. The
reason for this is that Ole Brøndum Jensen is taking up the position of
managing director of Spar Vest Fonden.
The Board has elected Alex Nielsen (former Vice Chairman) new Chairman of the
Board, and board member Frits Dahl Pedersen has been elected new Vice Chairman.
