NORDEA FLAGS CHANGES IN ITS HOLDING IN ALMA MEDIA

The company has received information to the effect that the forward
contracts in possession of the Swedish corporation Nordea Bank AB
(publ) (business ID code 516406-0120) and its Finnish subsidiary
Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj (business ID code 1680235-8) have been
extended to longer maturities, and that the holding of Nordea Group
and Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj in Alma Media Corporation has not fallen
below 1/20, but is more than 1/10.

Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj's present holding is 9,056,862 shares,
representing 12.14% of Alma Media's share capital and voting rights.
Furthermore, Nordea Life Assurance Finland Ltd. (business ID
0927072-8), a subsidiary of the Nordea Group, owns 687,069 Alma Media
shares, representing approximately 0.92% of the share capital and
votes.

Nordea Group owns altogether 9,743,931 Alma Media shares, or 13.06%
of the share capital and votes.

Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj has made forward contracts on Alma Media
Corporation shares. The deals have been made on the Stock Exchange
with brokerage firms. 14,206 contracts (1,420,600 shares) mature in
October 2007; 9,893 contracts (989,300 shares) mature in December
2007; 47,689 contracts (4,768,900 shares) mature in February 2008;
and 17,530 contracts (1,753,000 shares) mature in March 2008. As the
forward contracts mature in December 2007, the holding of Nordea
Pankki Suomi Oyj and Nordea Group will fall below 1/10, and when the
forward contracts mature in February 2008, below 1/20.

Nordea Pankki Suomi Oyj has acquired the Alma Media Corporation
shares it now owns as part of its liquidity guarantee business.
