SenoRx Named as One of the Fastest Growing Companies in North America On Deloitte's 2007 Technology Fast 500

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Oct. 30, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SenoRx (Nasdaq:SENO) today announced that it ranked Number 373 on Deloitte's 2007 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2002-2006. SenoRx grew 383 percent during this period. SenoRx previously was included in the 2006 Technology Fast 500, making this its second consecutive annual appearance on the list.

SenoRx's CEO, Lloyd Malchow, credits the significant progress that the company has made in establishing a meaningful presence, initially in the interventional diagnostic segment of the breast care market, and, more recently, expansion into the therapeutic side with the introduction of its Contura(tm) Multi-Lumen Radiation Balloon (MLB). Malchow said, "SenoRx has built its business over the past five years by leveraging its sales force with a growing pipeline of innovative products to offer breast centers and hospitals with a portfolio of minimally invasive solutions in the breast cancer area."

"Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 recognizes technology companies who have achieved extraordinary growth in North America's most innovative and competitive sectors," said Phil Asmundson, Vice Chairman, U.S. Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. "We congratulate SenoRx on this significant accomplishment."

In addition to ranking on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, SenoRx ranked 14 in the Orange County Technology Fast 50, which is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in Orange County. SenoRx was ranked fifth in the 2006 Orange County Technology Fast 50.

Fast 500 Selection and Qualifying Criteria

The Fast 500 ranks the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in North America. It is compiled from Deloitte's 16 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. Companies are selected based on percentage revenue growth from 2002 to 2006.

Entrants must own proprietary intellectual property or proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or devote a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify. Base-year operating revenues must be at least US$50,000 or CDN$75,000, and current-year operating revenues must be at least US/CDN$5 million. Companies must be in business a minimum of five years, and they must be headquartered within North America.
