BDNA Closes $20M in Latest Funding Round, Appoints New Chief Executive

Former SAP Executive Ray Homan Joins as CEO as Company Receives Series D Funding

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Oct. 31, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- BDNA Corporation, www.bdnacorp.com, a leading provider of Global Technology Inventory solutions, welcomed new CEO and director Ray Homan, while announcing a fourth round of funding led by international venture capital firm Rising Tide.

In its first investment with BDNA, Rising Tide, together with existing investors, allocated $20 million to continue BDNA's aggressive growth plans by expanding sales and marketing, product development, and customer support initiatives.

"The opportunity to lead this round fits very well with our fund's strategy to invest in mature yet innovative companies that have a significant opportunity to accelerate growth," said Ossama Hassanein, Rising Tide lead investor and BDNA board chairman. "We are very excited about BDNA's future, and we are building on an impressive track record."

Homan is formerly vice president of the High Technology Business Unit at SAP, and brings nearly 20 years of high-tech executive management, marketing, and business development experience to BDNA's leadership team. He was appointed by BDNA's board of directors as part of a strategic initiative to drive the company to the forefront of the IT asset management marketplace.

"There is an unmet need to provide quantitative, fact-based decision-making capabilities to CIOs and CFOs that BDNA has capitalized on very effectively," said Homan. "I am enthused by the opportunity and the availability of necessary resources to accelerate the growth of the company."

Previous CEO and BDNA co-founder Constantin Delivanis will continue to actively participate in the growth and success of BDNA as a board member.

"Through his history of innovation and outstanding background in the software industry, Ray brings valuable experience and perspective to complement the strong team and solutions we already have in place," said Delivanis. "We are delighted to welcome him to the BDNA family."
