New York, New York – November 1, 2007 - Oneida Ltd. today announced that Chief Financial Officer Andrew G. Church has been given additional responsibilities and promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the company. He will continue to serve as CFO, a position he has held since joining Oneida in 2004.
Church's expanded responsibilities include corporate development and planning, global supply chain management, information technology, finance and administration, legal, human resources and investor relations. He will also support implementation of Oneida's ongoing expansion into the Latin American, European, Middle East/African, and Asian luxury hotel & gaming market segments, and the pursuit of international consumer licensing opportunities.

Church's prior experience includes building the profitability of global businesses through acquisitions, process improvements and operational turnarounds in a variety of industries, including life science/biotechnology, media, IT/e-commerce and consumer products. Prior to joining Oneida, he was Interim Vice President of Saleslink Corporation, a subsidiary of CMGI, Inc.; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nurun, Inc.; and Vice President, Planning and Business Development of Quebecor Printing (USA) Corp. He also held various financial and general management positions with Millipore Corporation. Mr. Church started his career at the accounting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP where he was a certified public accountant. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University and an MBA from Cornell University.
