ANNOUNCEMENT OF SAMPO´S RESULTS AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IN 2008              

Sampo plc will publish a release on full-year 2007 results on 12 February 2008. 
Sampo will publish three Interim Reports in 2008:                               

7 May 2008 - Interim Report for the period 1.1.-31.3.2008                       
13 August 2008 - Interim Report for the period 1.1.-30.6.2008                   
5 November 2008 - Interim Report for the period 1.1.-30.9.2008                  

The Annual Report for 2007 will be published in week 14 and the Annual General  
Meeting will be held on 15 April 2008.
