Efficiency Technologies, Inc. Announces Sixth Installation Into Global Healthcare Company

TULSA, Okla., Nov. 8, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Efficiency Technologies, Inc., (EffTec), a wholly-owned subsidiary of EffTec International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EFFI), announced that it has been contracted to install its EffTrack(tm) web-based chiller monitoring and diagnostic system on three chillers, totalling 1,029 tons at Baxter Healthcare's facility in Guayna, Puerto Rico. The EffTrack system will be used to help the facility maximize chiller energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gasses and diagnose problems with a system that is involved with critical manufacturing processes.

Baxter Healthcare has over 65 facilities worldwide. It assists healthcare professionals and their patients with the treatment of complex medical conditions, including cancer, hemophilia, immune disorders, kidney disease and trauma. The company applies its expertise in medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

About Efficiency Technologies, Inc.

Chillers are the single largest energy consumer in most business facilities and can account for up to 40% of a facility's electrical usage. Chillers can waste up to 30% in additional energy through inefficiency. A 15% chiller energy savings could equal a 6% reduction of the energy bill. EffTrack collects accurate hourly chiller operating data, performs complex engineering analysis and trends chiller performance. It diagnoses causes of inefficiency, notifies plant operators and facility managers when problems occur and recommends corrective action. By following the EffTrack recommendations for improvement, plant operators can significantly lower the chiller plan energy consumption. These savings are identified and measured in the EffTrack reports, which can be accessed from any computer with internet access. EffTec is an ENERGY STAR partner.
