Demos:
Egenera will showcase several Oracle-specific demonstrations from its
corporate booth # 3932 West and from AMD's booth # 1614 South:
-- Oracle/Egenera Grid Ready Infrastructure Demonstration
Demonstration on how to manage the Oracle 11g Grid environment on
demand. Attendees will learn how to add and subtract 11g Fusion
middleware servers in the Oracle Grid.
-- Managing Infrastructure Performance Through Oracle Enterprise Manager
Demonstration on how to seamlessly monitor the performance of Egenera
hardware infrastructure through Oracle Enterprise Manager.
-- Building a Virtual Server (pServer)
Demonstration on how to quickly and easily provision a new virtual
server (pServer) using Egenera® PAN Manager™ software. Attendees will
learn the step-by-step process for creating a new server, booting-up
and failing over to a pool of available resources.
Other participation:
-- Egenera will be participating in the "Oracle OpenWorld Tech Tour,"
sponsored by Intel® November 11-15. Tour leaves every 30 minutes from the
West Hall Discovery Zone section, Inside Innovation Showcase.
