COSTA MESA, Calif., Nov. 12, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The CDMA Development Group (CDG) today announced that several leading wireless technology companies will provide CDMA2000(r) devices, equipment and services for the Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) frequency band. Less than a year after the FCC's issuance of licenses in the AWS band, license holders, in particular those that have previously deployed CDMA2000, are well positioned to meet the increasing demand for high-performance, advanced wireless broadband services by using the larger AWS bandwidth allocation.
