Rogue Wave Software Teams With IBM and Adobe to Offer Multi-City Developer Tour
Sessions to Show How C++ Applications Gain New Value With Potential of Service Component Architecture
| Source: Rogue Wave Software
BOULDER, CO--(Marketwire - November 14, 2007) - Rogue Wave Software, Inc., the leader in
enterprise class C++ components and infrastructure, today announced a
complimentary seminar series it is jointly sponsoring with IBM and Adobe on
Service Component Architecture (SCA) and Service Data Objects (SDO). The
sessions will explain the rationale behind SCA and SDO and how these
technologies simplify the development, testing and deployment of service
oriented architecture (SOA) applications. Rogue Wave will be presenting
enterprise use cases of using SCA principles to significantly improve the
scalability and performance of C++ applications by utilizing concurrent
processing.
"We want enterprise customers with mission critical C++ assets to know they
can enjoy all of the benefits of agility and flexibility of an SOA without
sacrificing high performance and other benefits that C++ provides," said
Patrick Leonard, vice president, engineering and product strategy at Rogue
Wave. "We'll also demonstrate how SCA helps C++ applications easily
co-exist in heterogeneous environments that include Java and .NET."
Rogue Wave's HydraSCA is the first commercially available run-time that
supports the SCA specification, enabling a repeatable model for service
enablement in high-performance environments. HydraSCA supports SCA
components implemented in C++, Java, and BPEL. Rogue Wave also offers the
most complete platform support across the IT spectrum allowing applications
to be incorporated into SOA, legacy, and other environments.
Participants will be able to experience case studies and a sample
application to illustrate the concepts behind SCA and SDO based on
open-source technologies including the Apache Tuscany project. Rogue Wave
will also be able to discuss how enterprises can take advantage of
multi-core chip architectures to meet performance goals without re-writing
any underlying code.
The complimentary half-day technical briefings are designed for qualified
architects and developers who want to understand the technologies that will
drive the next generation of SOA. The tour includes Toronto, Boston and San
Francisco. Click the following links to register for the events in each
