NEWTOWN, CT--(Marketwire - November 20, 2007) - The Golf Course Home® Collection of fine
items for the country club lifestyle -- http://www.GCHCollection.net --
makes its Washington, DC debut at the 25th Christmas House Tour Holiday
Boutique on Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, at The Cathedral Close of
the Washington National Cathedral. A percentage of all sales goes to St.
Albans School. Admission is free.
The Golf Course Home® Collection features fine, hand-crafted, imported
Italian ceramics such as dinnerware, serving platters, bowls and plates,
wine accessories, fine baby gifts and more. All items can be personalized
with a monogram at no additional charge and can be purchased online. All
items come in a variety of patterns.
This festive event combines a house tour, holiday tea and sale of holiday
boutique gifts and crafts. Sponsored by the St. Albans Parents Club,
proceeds are directed to faculty and staff endowment, stipends and grants.
The Cathedral Close is the area bounded by Wisconsin Ave., 34th St.,
Garfield St., and Woodley Rd., and includes the Washington National
Cathedral, NCS, STA, Beauvoir and the College of Preachers. Boutique hours
are on Friday, from 9:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 4 pm.
Admission is free.
Washington National Cathedral (St. Peter and St. Paul towers) is now
complete and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. St. Albans,
along with the National Cathedral School for Girls, Beauvoir School, and
the Washington National Cathedral, is part of the Protestant Episcopal
Cathedral Foundation. St. Albans sits in the shadow of the National
