Straumur extends its membership on the Nordic Exchange

As of today, November 20, Straumur-Burðarás Investment Bank hf will be a member
of the OMX Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki. Straumur is
currently a member of the OMX Nordic Exchange Iceland. Straumur is the fourth
Icelandic member to extend membership on the OMX Nordic Exchange this year.

”It's a pleasure to see yet another Icelandic member extend its trading to
cover the whole Nordic market. Extended membership gives Straumur an excellent
opportunity to offer its customers easy and direct access to trading on the
Nordic Exchange, the leading marketplace in several industries such as
information technology, paper and fashion,” says Jukka Ruuska, President of
Nordic Marketplaces at OMX.

In January 2007, Iceland was integrated in the Nordic Exchange, and since then
Icelandic members have rapidly increased their presence on the Nordic Exchange.
This year, MP Investment Bank and Saga Capital Investment Bank have joined the
Nordic Exchange, and NordVest Verdbref extended its membership to Stockholm in
July.

Today, there are 164 banks and brokerage firms trading on one or more markets
of the OMX Nordic Exchange.
