The renowned Global Finance magazine has named DnB NOR best Norwegian foreign exchange bank. In an evaluation of foreign exchange banks in 82 countries and regions, the magazine asked representatives from different sectors of the financial services industry to choose the best banks. Key criteria included transaction volumes, market shares, global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and use of innovative technology. "DnB NOR Markets has once again been selected as Norway's best FX bank, and this is in itself an absolute requirement for our operations," says executive vice president Jørn Pedersen. "Our aim is to take a key position in the Nordic market. In step with a strengthening of our position in the Swedish market, this should be within reach," says Pedersen. According to Global Finance, they have found the banks that meet customer requirements. The best banks will be presented in the January 2008 issue, and the award ceremony will be held in Washington in October this year in connection with a meeting of the World Bank. Deutsche Bank was named best global bank and best bank in Western Europe. Contact person: Tore Dyrdahl, communication officer, telephone: +47 907 52 788
