Former Federal Prosecutor Available for Comment On the Barry Bonds Litigation and Other Criminal and Civil Cases


LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- A federal grand jury recently indicted Barry Bonds on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice with regard to his alleged steroids use. Attorney Mathew Rosengart is available to comment on this case, as well as other noteworthy cases.

Rosengart is a former federal prosecutor. He has served as lead counsel in more than a dozen civil and criminal trials and conducted numerous complex federal grand jury investigations including cases of national interest, such as the investigation and prosecution of a United States Cabinet Officer for false statements, obstruction of justice and money laundering. He has taken grand jury testimony from members of the United States Senate, The White House, and the Justice Department, among others.

He also previously served as a Trial Attorney in both the Civil and Criminal Divisions of the United States Department of Justice, and as an Assistant United States Attorney, where he prosecuted a broad array of cases, including white collar and public corruption cases.

Rosengart previously taught Criminal Procedure: Grand Jury Law & Practice as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham Law School in New York. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Pepperdine Law School teaching "White Collar Crime."
