Aftersoft Network's Next-Generation Parts Distribution Management and eCommerce Technology Deployed by Autopart International

Advance Auto Parts Subsidiary Installs Aftersoft's Autopart and OpenWebs Solutions At More Than 100 Wholesale Locations

DANA POINT, Calif., Dec. 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Aftersoft Network N.A., Inc. (Aftersoft), a leading provider of business automation and eCommerce solutions for the automotive aftermarket, today announced that Autopart International (AI), a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE:AAP), has completed its rollout of "Autopart", Aftersoft's parts distribution management system.

"Autopart" is a revolutionary application and key enterprise building block in virtual supply chains for automotive parts distributors and retailers. Autopart is the first application of its kind to integrate all of the business management processes in the parts sector, eliminating the problem of disconnected, outdated systems, as well as manual, paper-based operations and old-fashioned batch processing. Demand in the U.S. for Autopart, which is already the leading aftermarket technology solution in the U.K. and Ireland, is growing rapidly as companies such as Performance Automotive, Murray's Speed & Custom and now AI have all recently become customers.

AI has installed Autopart at all of its 100+ wholesale locations. Chris Crowley, Chief Information Officer at AI, said, "Aftersoft has been a great partner in our successful deployment of our new point-of-sale and eCommerce systems. Aftersoft has both top-notch technical talent and a deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket. They delivered the best solution tailored to our specific needs."

Aftersoft's eCommerce solution, OpenWebs, is also now in the final stages of its rollout at AI. This solution not only provides AI's commercial customers with a quick, modern browser interface, but also gives customers the ability to connect directly to the system using Aftersoft's application-to-application (A2A) technology. The A2A technology allows users of many different point-of-sale solutions to review AI's inventory availability and place electronic orders inside the job estimate function of their present systems.

"We look forward to using Aftersoft's eCommerce technology to extend our service level to our customers, allowing them real-time access to our inventory and availability and enhancing the experience they have with us," Crowley added.

Jim French, managing director of Aftersoft Network, commented, "We are happy to see Autopart International complete the rollout of our modern supply chain solutions and know that together the systems will help drive AI's sales and deliver efficiency gains and improved customer satisfaction."
