PHOENIX, Feb. 11, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Association of Energy Services Professionals (www.aesp.org) bestowed its AESP Energy Awards at its 18th National Energy Services Conference held January 28 - 31, 2008 in Clearwater Beach, FL. The AESP Energy Awards recognize individuals, teams or organizations that have either:
-- Contributed to the advancement of the energy services field
-- Raised awareness of an energy services program or need
-- Represented the "best in class" in designing, implementing, or
evaluating an energy services program, or
-- Demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advancing the energy
services field.
The award winners recognized were:
-- Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation (www.weccusa.org)
received the Outstanding Achievement in Marketing Communications
award for its Wisconsin Focus on Energy 2007 customer
communications campaign.
-- Public Service Electric & Gas (www.pseg.com) was awarded the
Outstanding Achievement in Pricing and Demand Response award for
its myPower Pricing Pilot program.
-- Pacific Gas & Electric Company (www.pge.com) received the
Outstanding Achievement in Program Innovation award for its High-
Tech Energy Efficiency program.
-- National Grid (www.nationalgridus.com) was honored with the
Outstanding Achievement in Program Implementation award in
recognition of its 20th anniversary of implementing energy
efficiency programs for its customers.
-- Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (www.neep.org) won the
Outstanding Achievement via Collaboration for Program
Implementation award for its High Performance T-8 program.
-- Shel Feldman, Ph.D. was posthumously awarded the B. H. Prasad
Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Association.
In addition, the AESP Board of Directors recognized two outgoing board members for their service to the Association. Service awards were given to Janet Brandt of Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation and Lori Megdal, Ph.D. of Megdal & Associates.
