WHAT: The African CDMA Forum (ACF), CDMA Development Group (CDG)
(www.cdg.org), International 450 Association (IA 450),
Neotel and Starcomms Nigeria will participate in the annual
3G CDMA Middle East and Africa Regional Conference in Cape
Town, South Africa, March 12-14, 2008.
During the conference, executives will examine the progress
of 3G CDMA2000(r) worldwide and in the region, new global
roaming initiatives, EV-DO Rev. A carrier success stories,
opportunities for CDMA450, next-generation mobile broadband
technologies, ultra low-cost handsets and open access
initiatives.
The CDMA University will provide two half-day mobile
broadband training courses for engineers and business
professionals on Friday, March 14.

to foster the worldwide development, implementation and use
of CDMA2000 technologies. The more than 130 member companies
of the CDG include many of the world's largest wireless
carriers and equipment manufacturers. The primary activities
of the CDG include development of CDMA2000 features and
services, public relations, education and seminars,
regulatory affairs and international support. Currently,
there are more than 500 individuals working within various
CDG subcommittees on CDMA2000-related matters.
