Atlas Copco establishes a customer center in Angola

Stockholm, Sweden, February 19, 2008: Atlas Copco has established a new,
fully-owned customer center in Angola, to strengthen its offering to customers
in one of the world's fastest-growing markets.

The new customer center, Atlas Copco Angola, Lda, was officially started on
February 1, 2008. It offers a full range of Atlas Copco equipment, as well as
aftermarket products and services, for rapidly growing customer segments such as
construction, mining, oil and gas as well as manufacturing. The headquarters are
in the capital, Luanda.

“By establishing this new customer center we are strengthening our commitment to
existing and future customers, who will enjoy the benefits of shorter delivery
times and better service,” says Ronnie Leten, Business Area President, Atlas
Copco Compressor Technique. “Considering the rapid pace of Angola's economic
growth, this is an important market for us to be directly present in.”

Atlas Copco has been represented in Angola through distributors for almost 50

mining equipment. The new customer center operates as a part of the Compressor
