JSC “SAF Tehnika” announces a New Product Line - CFIP - SAF's Next Generation 100Mbps Microwave Radio System, at the exhibition CeBIT 2008, Hannover, Germany, on March 4 On March 4, at the start of the exhibition CeBIT 2008, Hannover, Germany, SAF Tehnika announces a new product line - CFIP - SAF's next generation 100Mbps microwave radio equipment. In response to the growing demands for low-cost microwave radio with high data-rate transmission capacity and understanding the needs of our customers, in 2007 SAF Tehnika initiated development of a new product line SAF CFIP. Today, SAF Tehnika is announcing the launch of CFIP product family. CFIP is a microwave radio system with Ethernet as the primary traffic interface and enhanced data transmission capacity - up to 100Mbps. SAF CFIP is a perfect building block for any modern future proof wireless network, including mobile service providers, fixed data service operators, enterprise customers, municipal and governmental networks among all others. “SAF Tehnika hopes to set a new industry benchmark with CFIP product line by offering next generation, high flexibility radio platform in a Full Outdoor package with low power consumption and Power over Ethernet capability. We are addressing growing capacity demands, move to packet network and increasing environmental awareness in the future”, states Mr. Didzis Liepkalns, Vice-Chairman of the Board of SAF Tehnika. Considering the innovative character of the product and its significance in development of the industry, the research and development was co-financed by Latvian state budget funds from the Ministry of Education and Science within a market-oriented research programme framework. During exhibition CeBIT 2008, held in Hannover, Germany, from March 4-9, SAF Tehnika will present the stand B75 in hall 12 and exhibit the existing products - CFM (PDH*), CFQ (SDH**), as well as the new CFIP - 100Mbps Microwave Radio System.
