SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 14, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- UC Hub Group, Inc. (OTCBB:UCHB), announced that its CEO Larry Wilcox will be introduced this week to members of the American Association of Political Consultants (www.theaapc.org) by Chicago-based Voter Communications, Inc. (www.VoteComm.com), which executed a letter of intent (LOI) for a reverse merger with UC Hub.
VoteComm CEO Stephen J. Denari will also be introducing international media consultant Richard Lubic, who joins Chairman Nancy Todd Tyner (www.NancyTodd.com) on VoteComm's advisory board as a Vice Chairman.
Mr. Lubic, himself a significant shareholder in UC Hub Group, praised the intent of CEO Larry Wilcox for having the vision to use the company as a vehicle to transform VoteComm into the first and only publicly traded company dedicated solely to the political & advocacy sector. Contingent upon the formal agreement, all UC Hub current operations and subsidiaries will be spun off from the post merged company.
Wilcox responded, "We studied what Steve Denari and his now re-assembled and enhanced team did at Navigant Consulting, a NYSE traded company, during 1997-1999 in consolidating the 'management consulting' sector. We know the VoteComm management team virtually doing a redux in 'political consulting' is compelling to us, and feel it will also be an exciting alternative to the entrepreneurs who have built these legacy businesses. I believe that this may well satisfy our shareholders, future shareholders and partners with a very impressive and intriguing vision. This is exciting drama and business in one package."
VoteComm Executive VP of Mergers & Acquisitions Tim Denari noted he believed that if armed expeditiously with a public stock currency, VoteComm's acquisition plans to target the sector's leading consulting, technology and media firms could be vastly accelerated in 2008.
