PRECISE BIOMETRICS RECEIVES ORDER FOR 50,000 MATCH-ON-CARD LICENSES FOR A MAJOR US POLICE DEPARTMENT

Precise Biometrics has been awarded an order to supply 50,000
licenses of Precise Match-on-Card(TM) for an employee ID card program
to one of the largest Police Departments in the USA. The total
project value for Precise Biometrics is expected to reach SEK 2-5
million.

Precise Biometrics supplies the well-proven and widely deployed
Precise Match-on-Card(TM) technology to enable the Police Department
to prove their employees' identities in a fast, secure and reliable
way. The total project value is expected to reach at least SEK 2
million, comprising both Precise Match-on-Card(TM) software and
fingerprint readers. The project will run during 2008 and 2009, and
may result in additional hardware orders.

Often looked upon as a US leader in law enforcement technology, the
department is now modernizing internal IT-programs. Through the
introduction of an employee card with Precise Match-on-Card(TM) for
Java cards, the Police Department will improve its security.

Precise Biometrics has for several years successfully supplied
Match-on-Card to other prestigious US customers, such as the
Department of State, NASA and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

Precise Biometrics' CEO Thomas Marschall sees this most recent win in
the US as a positive step towards achieving the company's vision."Supplying our technology to one of the largest US Police Departments
confirms our position as the market leader within the Match-on-Card
field. It proves the true value of our technology as it reduces
costly password administration and makes everyday life easier for the
user. Large organizations see great advantages with our Match-on-Card
as its flexibility offers freedom of choice when it comes to smart
cards, applications and hardware. This flexibility adds value not
only to large-scale national ID cards but also to employee ID and
similar types of card programs. We trust we will see more of such
projects in the near future ", says Thomas Marschall.

The solution is delivered through a cooperation of partners, of which
one is a leading system integrator to federal, state and local
government in North America. The project includes a mix of software
and hardware deliverables from Precise Biometrics. The first hardware
orders for Precise 200 MC and Precise 250 MC fingerprint readers as
well as the 50,000 Precise Match-on-Card(TM) licenses have been
delivered.

Precise Biometrics has more than 12 millon deployed card licenses and
close to 80 million contracted licenses for its Match-on-Card
technology.
